Returns and Refunds

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Maxcom Technologies. If you are not entirely satisfied, we are here to help.

Eligibility for Returns:

To be eligible for a return, please ensure the following conditions are met:

  • Condition of Item: The item(s) must be unused and in the same condition that you received them. They must be in as-new condition and undamaged.
  • Original Packaging: The item(s) must be returned in their original packaging, including all original accessories, manuals, and any included promotional items.
  • Exclusions: Certain types of items are not eligible for return. These include:
    • Software licenses (once activated or opened)
    • Downloadable digital products
    • Services that have already been performed or started
    • Consumable items where the packaging has been opened (e.g., printer ink, toner, opened software packages)
    • Items that are damaged or missing components due to customer misuse or negligence.
    • Special order items or customized products.
  • Proof of Purchase: To process a return, we require a valid receipt or proof of purchase, such as your order confirmation email or invoice.

Timeframe for Returns:

You must initiate a return request within 7 days from the date you received your order.

Acceptable Reasons for Returns:

We accept returns under the following circumstances:

  • Defective Product: If you receive an item that is faulty, malfunctioning, or damaged upon arrival.
  • Incorrect Item Received: If we shipped you the wrong product, different from what you ordered.
  • Change of Mind: We understand that sometimes you might change your mind. We accept returns for change of mind, subject to the following conditions:
    • Items must be unopened, unused, and in perfect resalable condition.
    • A restocking fee of 15% of the original purchase price will be applied to all change of mind returns.
    • You are responsible for all return shipping costs for change of mind returns.

How to Initiate a Return:

  1. Contact Customer Service: To start a return, please contact our customer service team within the 7-day return period. You can reach us by:
  2. Provide Order Details: When contacting us, please provide your order number and clearly state the reason for your return.
  3. Return Authorization (RA) Number: If your return request is approved, we will issue you a Return Authorization (RA) number. This number is essential for processing your return.
  4. Return Instructions: We will provide you with detailed instructions on how to return the item, including the return shipping address.

Returning the Item:

  • Packaging: Securely package the item in its original packaging (if possible) to prevent damage during return shipping. Include the RA number clearly marked on the outside of the package.
  • Shipping Costs:
    • Defective or Incorrect Items: If the return is due to a defective product or an error on our part (incorrect item shipped), Maxcom Technologies will be responsible for the return shipping costs. We will provide you with a prepaid shipping label or instructions for reimbursed shipping.
    • Change of Mind Returns: For change of mind returns, you are responsible for paying the return shipping costs.

Inspection and Refund Processing:

  • Inspection Upon Receipt: Once we receive your returned item, our team will inspect it to ensure it meets the eligibility criteria outlined in this policy.
  • Refund Approval/Rejection: We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund after the inspection.
  • Refund Method: If your return is approved, and after deducting any applicable restocking fees (for change of mind returns), we will process your refund to the original payment method used for your purchase.
  • Refund Timeframe: Please allow 5-7 business days for the refund to be processed and reflected in your account. The exact timeframe may depend on your payment provider.

Exchanges:

We typically only offer exchanges for defective or damaged items, for the same product (subject to availability). If you need to exchange a defective item for the same product, please contact us. For other situations, please follow the return process and place a new order for the desired item.
