Shipping Locations:
- We currently ship to addresses throughout the Republic of Maldives, including Male’ and all outer Atolls.
Shipping Methods & Delivery Times:
- We utilize the following shipping methods to deliver your orders:
- Maxcom Local Delivery Service:Â For deliveries within Male’ and nearby areas.
- Courier Service:Â For deliveries to outer Atolls and more remote locations within the Maldives. We partner with reputable courier companies to ensure reliable delivery.
- Estimated Delivery Times:
- Within Male’ and Greater Male’ Region: Typically 1-2 business days after order processing.
- Outer Atolls: Typically 3-7 business days after order processing, depending on the specific Atoll and logistical factors. Please note that some remote islands may experience slightly longer delivery times.
- Order Processing Time: Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1 business day after payment confirmation, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in the Maldives.
- Please note: Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery times may vary depending on factors such as product availability, order volume, shipping carrier schedules, weather conditions, and unforeseen logistical challenges, particularly for outer Atolls. We will do our best to ensure timely delivery.
Shipping Costs:
- Shipping costs are calculated based on several factors, including:
- Delivery Location:Â Shipping to Male’ and nearby areas will generally have lower costs than shipping to outer Atolls.
- Weight and Dimensions of the Package:Â Heavier and larger items may incur higher shipping fees.
- Chosen Shipping Method:Â While we primarily offer standard shipping, expedited options (if available in the future) may have different pricing.
- Shipping costs will be clearly displayed at checkout before you finalize your order. You will have the opportunity to review the shipping costs before completing your purchase.
- Free Shipping: We may offer free shipping promotions on orders meeting certain criteria, such as orders above a specified value. Any free shipping promotions will be clearly communicated on our website and during checkout. Delivery Issues and Important Notes:
- Delivery Delays:Â While we strive to meet estimated delivery times, Maxcom Technologies is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, natural disasters, weather disruptions, or other factors outside of our direct control. If you experience a significant delay beyond the estimated timeframe, please contact us, and we will assist you in tracking your order and investigating the cause of the delay.
- Lost or Damaged Shipments: In the unlikely event that your shipment is lost in transit or arrives damaged, please contact our customer service team immediately within 24 hours of receiving the damaged package (or if your tracking indicates a lost shipment). Please provide your order number and any relevant details or photographic evidence of damage. We will work with the shipping carrier to investigate and resolve the issue promptly. We will arrange for a replacement shipment (subject to product availability) or provide a refund for lost or significantly damaged items, as appropriate.
- Incorrect Shipping Address:Â Please ensure that you provide a complete and accurate shipping address, including your full name, house number, street name, island/atoll, and a valid contact phone number during checkout. Maxcom Technologies is not responsible for delivery issues or delays caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided by the customer. If a shipment is returned to us due to an incorrect address, you will be responsible for any applicable reshipping costs to correct and resend the order.
- Delivery Attempts:Â Our courier partners will typically make reasonable attempts to deliver your package to the provided address. If delivery is unsuccessful after multiple attempts or if you are unavailable to receive the package, it may be returned to our warehouse or held at a local courier depot for pickup. You may need to contact the courier directly to arrange for redelivery or pickup. Additional charges may apply for redelivery or if the package is returned to us due to repeated failed delivery attempts or non-pickup.
- Remote or Difficult-to-Reach Locations:Â Delivery to extremely remote islands or locations with limited accessibility within the Maldives may incur extended delivery times and potentially higher shipping costs. We will inform you if your delivery address falls into such a category and if any additional charges apply before processing your order.
Order Tracking:
- Once your order has been processed and shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing a tracking number and instructions on how to track your shipment online. You can use this tracking number to monitor the progress of your delivery on the courier’s website or through our website’s order tracking section (if available).
